🌚 What are your new moon intentions? ✨

This is the time for planting seeds; deep in the dark, sleeping earth; trusting that as the light returns, so will our energy, and through consistent aligned action and care we will support their blossom and their eventual bloom under the full moon 🌕

The dark reminds us this is a time of rest: of being.

Surrendering deep into the feminine energy of Crone; honouring what was, as we let it die, creating sacred space within and without; creating a vision for what will be.

We begin a new journey with the moon; the clear night sky acting as a blank slate and a canvas to be painted with all of our wildest dreams (and not so wild too 😉)

For me last month, I cultivated a morning and evening journaling habit and I was very disciplined about it, ensuring my day didn’t begin until I’d written out all the feelings I woke up with, along with my worries, my plans and to do’s… and on the days I didn’t, oh did I feel the difference! #chaos

This month my intention is to be in bed by 11pm each night, and screen free from the last hour of my day… and for two nights in a row I’ve achieved it 🙌

This is huge as I’ve always been a 3am kinda gal: my mind racing with trips to be made, songs to be written and dumb shit to scroll though 🙄

Today is the first day I’ve woken up early to journal, and the silence, stillness, sacredness has been bliss - just me, my tea, my journal and the birds 😌

(And I still got my coveted, morning snuggle time with my baby and there was even time to play 🙌)

Our intentions have to align with our values otherwise we won’t care enough to keep taking consistent action when our all habits desperately try to pull us off course…Because our brains love to keep us anchored to the familiar (even when it DOES NOT serve us 😒)
